Dominican Convent School in Belgravia, Johannesburg, was privileged to host members of the International Confederation of Principals’ (ICP) Executive and Council, SAHISA (Southern African Heads of Independent Schools Association) and SAPA (South African Principals’ Association) on 6 August 2012.

Guests were welcomed by the school marimba band and the high school choir. On a pupilled guided tour, guests were able to see the trees their generous donations had made possible, learn to dance to the beat of marimbas and get a taste of campus life. They also visited Wings of Hope, the school’s outreach preschool and part of the Kgosi Neighbourhood Foundation.

The ICP is the only global professional organisation that represents national associations of school leaders. It comprises over 135 000 school leaders across five continents, is non-political and non-sectarian.
