ISASA schools salute Madiba

| September 4, 2013 | 0 Comments

Many ISASA schools participated in Mandela Day on 18 July. Dominican Convent High School took to the streets to pick up litter. The pre-school collected bags of clothing, which was donated — along with the tinned food collected by the senior primary school — to a school in Tembisa. Tins of food were also donated to Wings of Hope Pre-School, and foundation phase learners visited Cotlands orphanage.

Auckland Park Preparatory School went to Madiba’s home in Houghton to pay tribute, and learners were delighted when Graça Machel stepped out of her home to acknowledge the singing of the national anthem.
