‘It’s a kind of magic’ at Unity College

The annual school concert at Unity College in Gauteng is a highlight of the year and everyone is still revelling in the glow of the most recent presentation, says Michelle Kirk, the school’s advancement officer.

“It brings our extended family together, and is an opportunity for our children to shine. Nothing arouses as much as the excitement of donning a costume, makeup and attitude and performing in front of an eager loving audience. It has always been my contention that a production needs to be more than a variety performance. There needs to be a meaning, a moral. Our most recent theme was MAGIC.
