School zone cellphone restrictions

Still in North Texas, authorities have taken steps to ensure that school zone cellphone restrictions are strictly enforced.

Restrictions become active every morning at 7:15am until close of school activities for the day, and those that break the rules could be fined as much as US$200.
Authorities have posted warning signs at schools all over the state. “Now that the signs are up that means that the law will be 100% enforced,” said a police spokesperson.
