Tremendous times at St Teresa’s

The school management team at St Teresa’s School in Rosebank, Johannesburg, Gauteng, was recently given the go-ahead from the South African chapter of the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy to develop the high school property.

The new building in the high school opened in January 2014. It comprises four new classrooms, two state-of-the-art science and life science laboratories, as well as a utility gym, which will be used for drama, gym and many other activities. All the classrooms are equipped with interactive Promethean boards and Wi-Fi. Staff parking is now housed underneath the building.

While the new high school classroom block was being built, the intermediate phase administration block was completely refurbished and new facilities added to the block.

The foundation phase facility has also been growing. Due to an increase in demand, a second Grade 00 class was started in 2014, with the result that an extra classroom was needed.

St Teresa’s is looking forward to the future!
